Twenties are the foundation of your whole life.
20s are the years of
- Adopting good habits
- Building simple systems
- Strengthening your body
- Expanding your intelligence
- Finding your life’s purpose
- And creating something meaningful
But in this age, it’s easy to drift away from your life’s path and completely lose yourself.
Here are 8 ways how to NOT waste your Twenties:
1. Addictions
Finding pleasure in drugs and alcohol instead of creating something meaningful is the easiest way to waste your younger years.
“You live only once”
“Just trying one time”
Words like these will constantly test your will.
Be strong and learn to ignore them.
2. Chasing trends
Like season, trends will come and go.
Don’t follow the crowd. What’s popular right now may get replaced tomorrow by something new.
Find something you’re good at and stick with it.
Be loyal to yourself, your skills and your vision.
3. Chasing men/women
Sex by its very nature is a powerful motivator.
And it can easily drift you off your life path.
Remember that you will attract a compatible partner not by chasing, but by focusing on your passion.
Use your sexual energy to create and manifest.
4. Doubting yourself
Self-made billionaires were once skinny teenagers in a garage.
But what made them different was— they didn’t give a shit.
Try, test, fail, learn, try again.
Always believe—YOU CAN.
5. Caring about “them”
“Them” has no face.
They could be your friends, colleagues, even your parents.
You have only one life. This life!
Are you willing you waste it away for a bunch of people who don’t even think about you?
Fuck “them”.
6. Perfectionism
Do your best and move on.
You can only control your actions, not their outcome.
Don’t compare, don’t compete. Just focus on bettering your own work.
And trust me, that is enough.
7. Procrastination
You’re not lazy, you haven’t found what you love.
Because when you do, you forget to eat and bathe, and even sleep.
Don’t get into odd jobs and temporary work.
Do only what you’re genuinely interested in doing for long-term.
8. Detachment
And when you’ve figured it all out, let it go.
Too much attachment only causes suffering.
Zoom out. In the bigger scheme of things, it’s all insignificant.
So relax. Stop taking yourself so seriously.
Enjoy every little moment life offers.
Find what you love and dedicate your whole life to it.
Your purpose is nothing but finding that one things that has the power to launch you out of your bed.
Every single morning for the rest of your life.
